A federal appeals courtroom Thursday agreed to rapidly contemplate former President Donald Trump’s request to disclaim a particular Home committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot on the Capitol entry to information from his presidency, a transfer that may at the least briefly delay disclosure of the fabric.
The U.S. Courtroom of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, for now, delayed the impact of a trial courtroom’s ruling from Tuesday that will have allowed the committee entry to the information on Friday. The transfer is designed to offer the courtroom time to contemplate arguments by Mr. Trump, whose attorneys moved to hunt emergency intervention from the courtroom.
